With the TA implementing a rule where in order to get paid for overtime, T/O & C/R’s are required to sign out. No more just dropping your Claim Exemption Form into the box and going home.

The issue that raises concern is when does the crew get paid as far as time. Usually crews would call down to the dispatcher and use the I-Trac time for payroll time, but this method is incorrect because crews are still working.

According to the arbitrator, train crews are supposed to get paid even for “sign out procedures”, which would definitely make the I-Trac time inaccurate.
